History
2002 Genesis 3 Engineering was founded as an engineering division of a Los Angeles based FAA-PMA Company that offered engineering consulting services to commercial aviation customers.
2003—2005
- Genesis offers FAA—STC Certification support
- Develops first Special Mission Aircraft component lines
- Develops heavy structures engineering house for Special Mission Aircraft Modifications, including:
- ISR
- Maritime Surveillance
- Firefighting
- Cargo
- Skydiving
- Troop Transport
2008 Genesis 3 Engineering becomes a subsidiary of TRINE AEROSPACE, LLC
2009 Trine completes its first in-house Mission Aircraft Integration Program
2012 Trine Aerospace acquired by Colorado company and relocates to Colorado Springs Airport (KCOS)
2013 Trine Aerospace acquires Monarch Aviation in San Diego, CA and adds FAA Part 145 Repair Station at Colorado Springs location, thus creating new services to business and general aviation that include: Major and Minor maintenance for airframe and powerplant (fixed and rotary wing), avionics engineering, service and installation.
Becomes avionics dealer for: Garmin, Genesys Aerosystems, and Technisonic Communications.
2014 Trine Aerospace opens its own manufacturing division, which includes: 5-axis milling, sheet metal, lite-composite and electrical components.
2015 Trine Aerospace begins offering FAA Part 91/135 Flight Operations Support and Part 121 line maintenance to airlines operating to/from Colorado Springs. Adds major bizjet maintenance support for Bombardier Learjet, Cessna Citation, Dassault Falcon and Raytheon Hawker aircraft.
2016 Trine Aerospace receives AS9100 / ISO 9001 Certification for Engineering and Manufacturing.
